What's next?

Obviously, the City Council of Santa Clarita thinks everything could be done better by hiring for-profit experts. Why would they decide to quit our excellent Los Angeles County library system? As a county resident (2.1 miles outside the city boundaries) I am wondering how long it will take for the city to charge me for using "their" library. Anyone want to take any bets on this one?
