A San Fernando Superior Court judge today called a recess until Monday, April 25, in the murder trial of Marco Antonio Valencia, 22, of Canyon Country. Valencia is on trial for murder for a July 2009 alleged drunken driving accident in which he struck four bicyclists, killing one.
Santa Clarita residents remember onetime SCV Woman of the Year Ruth Clark as a selfless volunteer at numerous nonprofit organizations throughout the valley. Clark died April 15. She was 81.
