Castaic/Val Verde Zone 2: burglary reported

There were five Part 1 Crimes in Zone 2. One residential burglary was reported on Chiquito Canyon in Val Verde. A resident's window was pried half open in an attempt to gain entry. The homeowner had placed a stick in the window rail preventing the suspect from getting the window open enough to climb through. No items were reported missing from the residence.

Saugus Zone 4 Crime Report: theft investigated

Good afternoon Saugus. Over the past week we only had three reported Part-1 crimes. The first was a petty theft in the 21900 block of Peppercorn Drive between December 9th and December 14th. The home owner was having work done in the house when some of her personal property went missing.
