Clearing up confusion
Reading "Health care confusion" (Letters, The Signal, July 2) I agree that Rob Kerchner has some "health care confusion" since he quite obviously has no concept of what "single-payer" health care is comprised of.

In a story in The Signal's Nov. 6, 2008, edition, following the passage of Measure SA ("First priority: Castaic high school"), Hart District School Board Member Gloria Mercado-Fortine stated, "We are going to move forward in full disclosure and transparency and really encourage the community to work with us as we implement the bond."
