DUI suspect in deadly crash to be charged, arraigned Tuesday

The 20-year-old suspect in a drunk-driving crash that left one bicyclist dead and two injured Saturday is set to be charged and arraigned today in San Fernando Superior Court, said Los Angeles County District Attorney's spokeswoman Jane Robison.

'VIDA Registration Night' runs this month

Firefighters put out brushfire off The Old Road

A brushfire erupted Saturday in Valencia just off The Old Road but was quickly doused. The fire started near The Old Road north of Magic Mountain Parkway about 3:10 p.m. Three engines, a camp crew and water tender helped knock it down in less than 10 minutes, according to Brendon Peart, supervising fire dispatcher for the L.A.
