Preschoolers hang out with Jack

Peachland Preschool students got a surprise when College of the Canyons student Damion Rodriguez dressed up as the Jack in the Box restaurant character and visited the children on Oct. 29. Along with playing games with the kids and posing for photos, Rodriguez brought free tacos for the youngsters.

Libraries: What we are losing

I totally agree with Richard Bussell's recent letter, "A library critic responds" (Nov. 21), in which he noted that roughly 95 percent of items he checks out of a Santa Clarita library come from other county libraries. For me, it is probably about 4 out of 5.
