Two Women on Wine: La dolce vita -- alternate Italian

Italy! On our trip to Rome and Tuscany last summer, we were reminded how much we love Italian wines. After spending a few days in Rome visiting the usual sights, we looked forward to our train ride to Tuscany and our journey through the hill towns and wine regions.

Video Game Review: 'Brutal Legend'

No style of music has taken more of a beating over the years than heavy metal. Critics don't respect it, kids are more likely to spend their allowances on hip-hop, and parents stopped worrying long ago about whether Black Sabbath was going to turn their teens into devil worshippers.

Review: 'Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant'

"Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant" includes good Vampires, evil Vampaneze, a Wolf-Man, a Bearded Lady, a Monkey Girl with a long tail, a Snake Boy, a dwarf with a four-foot forehead and a spider the size of your shoe, and they're all boring as hell. The movie has good special effects and suitably gruesome characters, but it's bloodless.

Review: 'Astro Boy'

"Astro Boy" is yet another animated comedy in which the hero, who is about the same age as his target audience, is smarter, braver and stronger than the adults in his world. Toby is also a quick learner; after he dies in an accident, he's reborn inside a robot that looks just like him and retains all of his memories. Review: 'Amelia'

I am drawn to every news story about the attempts, which still continue, to solve the mystery of Amelia Earhart's disappearance on July 2, 1937. It's pretty clear she ditched at sea, but you just never know. Those clues found on a Pacific atoll are tantalizing. It is not her disappearance but her life that fascinates me.

Bob Kellar: Drive-through flu shot clinic provides inoculation and training

Flu shots are an important preventative measure toward providing vital and potentially life-saving protection against illness. In light of current events, including a rise in the number of flu virus cases, this fall is perhaps one of the most important times to take advantage of the protection flu shots can provide.

Obama is a healer

President Barack Obama recognizes the responsibility ensuing to the Office of the President of the United States. As he continues to do what is right for all, he undoubtedly will make some people angry. I have exorbitant respect for anyone who will step up and do what is right, even in the wake of adversity.

Busting misconceptions about investor perceptions

We all know that perception often influences our decisions, yet we catch ourselves and become reminded that what we perceive isn't always what's really going on. With the constant barrage of information available in today's 24/7 world, it's important to not get caught up in the day-to-day market volatility and news headlines. That daily hype doesn't always dovetail with what Wells Fargo Advisors top strategists are observing in the financial marketplace.
