The Santa Clarita Domestic Violence Center recently hosted a special Mardi Gras recognition and fundraising dinner to support the center's shelter house, which provides a haven for women and children in need. Community leaders gathered at the local Elks Lodge to both help the center and honor two unsung community leaders.
