This year the Chinese new year falls on Feb. 14 (coincidentally, Valentine's Day).

What do they think?

In light of Bob Kellar's wonderful stance bringing the illegal-immigration issue to the forefront in our city, it would be most timely for all of our local elected office holders to come forth and clearly present each of his or her views on illegal immigration.

The Signal glorified illegal immigration

Politicians, stand up

It's time for the City Council and those wanting to run for the office, along with our other local politicians - Congressman Howard "Buck" McKeon, Assemblyman Cameron Smyth, etc. - to take a stand and go on the record with their community on exactly what their individual position is on the illegal immigration issue.

February 14, 2010 | Kevin Eliason Santa Clarita | Letters to the Editor

We've reached our limit

Finally, there is one politician who has come out and said what needs to be said. Bob Kellar is 100 percent correct. There are so many of this country's problems that could be corrected or made so much better by cracking down on illegal immigration.

Proud Americans?

Santa Clarita City Councilman Bob Kellar could have chosen better words. However, his political incorrectness has cut to the heart of the matter.
