We need change

I cannot believe it! The April Fool's issue of The Signal is becoming reality. It was a most clever article (in jest, I thought at the time) that told us all the City Council was being voted in "for life" and we wouldn't need anymore elections.

Obstructionists

In response to the recent rhetoric regarding "environmental terrorism": OK, I get what City Councilman Frank Ferry ("Ferry: Stop 'developmental terrorism,'" June 1) is trying to say, although I might have used the term "developmental obstructionists," because there are indeed vocal individuals in our valley who attempt to oppose any new development for any reason in Santa Clarita.

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (PRNewswire-USNewswire) -- Consumer Watchdog Friday praised three Congressmen for releasing Google's purported explanation of its three-year WiSpy snooping and endorsed a call for a Congressional hearing about the incident.
