As a product of the William S. Hart School District (Hart High Class of '02), I have never recalled spending an entire class period discussing the accomplishments of Ceser Chavez, Christopher Columbus or even Martin Luther King Jr. on their respective days. This has always been taught in our textbooks, whether mentioned in a section or a whole chapter devoted to the person.

Numerous elected leaders have endorsed Joe Messina for the governing board of the William S. Hart Union High School District, including state Sen. George Runner, Sen. LA Deputy Sheriff endorsed Mike Berger for COC

The Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriff's has endorsed Mike Berger for Seat No. 1, of the Santa Clarita Community College District Board of Trustees, which governs College of the Canyons. Steve Remige, president of the association, said the deputies were pleased to support Berger's candidacy for the COC board.
