CHP Wants Motorists not to text and drive

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Distracted driving is a dangerous epidemic on California's roadways. In 2011 alone, more than 3,000 people were killed in distracted driving crashes. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is encouraging all motorists to make the conscience decision that could literally save their life: "Do not text and drive."

Student kills teacher, policeman in Moscow school

MOSCOW (AP) - A 10th-grade student with two rifles burst into his Moscow school on Monday, killing his geography teacher and a policeman in front of about 20 students, investigators said. His father played a key role in freeing those students before police stormed the classroom and took his son into custody, the city police chief said.
