COC holds ‘Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair’ Dec. 5-6

College of the Canyons will hold its 20th Annual "Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair" Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 5 and 6. As in past years, the event will be held in COC's parking lot #8, near the Stadium off Valencia Boulevard.

Halloween face paint could be toxic for kids

SAN FRANCISCO -- Ghosts and goblins aren't the only spooky things lurking around this Halloween. A new report by the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics reveals that popular children's face paints contain lead, a potent neurotoxin, as well as nickel, cobalt and chromium, which can cause lifelong skin sensitization and contact dermatitis.

Road rehab delayed on Soledad, McBean

Night work on Soledad Canyon Road and McBean Parkway as part of the City's Asphalt Rehabilitation Project is postponed due to anticipated nighttime weather conditions. Paving on Soledad Canyon Road will continue on Sunday, November 1, with the construction Project on McBean scheduled to begin Monday, November 2.
