I love our city. However, after seeing the outrageous actions at the City Council meeting July 13, I am appalled by the direction we are going. One of the hot issues addressed was the increase in campaign contribution limits to $1,000. Sadly, the council completely missed the point of the unanimous speakers who spoke against this increase. They avoided the real issue while justifying their vote to increase the contribution limits.
