Antonovich boosts sheriff's off-road vehicle enforcement

To protect Los Angeles County's natural resources and enforce laws pertaining to off-highway vehicles (OHVs), Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich has allocated $35,000 to the sheriff's COPS teams to purchase four motorcycles, a motorcycle trailer and personal safety equipment for the teams' off-highway vehicle enforcement program.

Supervisors move to share data about public services clients

To identify and prevent child abuse and neglect, Los Angeles County Supervisors Michael D. Antonovich and Zev Yaroslavsky have introduced a motion directing county departments to immediately implement an automated information sharing system using data about clients simultaneously served by public agencies.
