Riding area reopened

Rowher Flat Off-Highway Vehicle Recreation Area reopened Saturday. The popular riding area is located in the Angeles National Forest off Highway 14 Freeway, northeast of Santa Clarita.

Missing man found

A missing elderly Valencia man was found Saturday morning, according to a Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's press release. Los Angeles police officers found Tomas Guillermo Garcia, 79, in good health and he was returned to the care of a Santa Clarita senior living facility.

Where's the sensibility?

My boy's father died last weekend. Yesterday was the first day my son decided to go out and skate again in our skatepark. To make his day a little better, I gave him $5 for food. He went to McDonald's and ordered two orders of french fries and two McDoubles, with no cheese and ketchup only. He went back to explain that his order was wrong (they had pickles and cheese).
