Delta Kappa honors SCV resident Mar. 20

The Area IX chapters of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International will gather for the annual Spring Festival breakfast on Mar. 20 at 9 a.m. at The Castaway in Burbank. Valerie Boer, a member of Epsilon Nu chapter in Central California will be the keynote speaker. She graduated from CSU- Stanislaus. She received an advance degree in herbalism and a Master Gardener Certification. She has become an outspoken advocate for plant and environmental risk issues.

The musical entertainment will be the Grant High School Jazz Band, under the direction of Paul Simms, from Van Nuys.
