Boys & Girls Club receives funds to attend summer flicks

Summer is just around the corner and soon parents and caregivers will be looking for ways to keep kids active, engaged and entertained. Thanks to a partnership with Regal Entertainment Group, members of the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley will enjoy free admission to the movies this summer through the Free Family Film Festival. Local sheriff's deputies carry out probation sweep

On Thursday, June 5, 2014, deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station's Special Assignment Team (SAT) and the Summer Violent Crime Enforcement Program (SVCEP) conducted a multiple-location parole/probation compliance operation during the early morning hours.
