A Newhall home at 25222 Via Tanara was severely burned Saturday afternoon, officials said. While nobody was injured, and no neighboring houses were damaged, the home was completely engulfed in flames when emergency personnel arrived at around 5 p.m., according to Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Lt. Robert Lewis. The home was burned so bad, it was deemed uninhabitable, Lewis said.
