DUI, vehicle checkpoint in city Friday

Personnel from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Risk Management Bureau's Traffic Services Detail will conduct a DUI-driver's license checkpoint at an undisclosed location in the city of Santa Clarita on Friday, April 29, starting at 6 p.m. and lasting until approximately 2 a.m. Saturday, according to a statement from the SCV Sheriff's Station.

Local sheriff's deputies carry out probation sweep

On Thursday, June 5, 2014, deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station's Special Assignment Team (SAT) and the Summer Violent Crime Enforcement Program (SVCEP) conducted a multiple-location parole/probation compliance operation during the early morning hours.
