Man arrested for allegedly attempting robbery

A Saugus man was arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery after witnesses saw him carrying a replica gun near several businesses at the 26500 of Bouquet Canyon Road, authorities said Thursday. People called authorities at about 6 p.m. Wednesday and reported the 35-year-old was acting strangely, said Sgt. Kevin Blake of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station.

High school art show debuts Tuesday
