Dusan Klein body found

Coroner's officials in Nevada have identified a body found by hikers as that of Dusan Klein, the Canyon Country man missing for three weeks whose wife's body was found in the Angeles National Forest. He apparently died of a suicide.

‘Lovemaster’ at J.R.’s

Craig Shoemaker, aka the "Lovemaster," will return to J.R.'s comedy Club for two shows tonight, Friday, July 1, at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., and two shows tomorrow night, July 2, at the same times. Named Comedian of the Year by the American Comedy Awards on ABC, Shoemaker's half-hour Comedy Central special has been voted by viewers as one of the network's Top 20 stand-up specials of all time.

New play festival in Saugus July 8 and 9

A new play festival will be featured for one weekend only, July 8 and 9, at 8 p.m. at The SCV Space theatre, 27600 Bouquet Canyon Road, Saugus, CA 91350. The festival, called Shorts, Mediums and Longs, features new work from California playwrights that is either 10 minutes long, 30 minutes long, or is mad up of excerpts of 60 minute plays. Novice and experienced authors alike will be presented, as more than 60 entries were submitted for the festival.
