Stevenson Ranch/Westridge Zone 3: burglaries investigated

Thank you for taking the time to read this week's Zone 3 Nixle report. During the above dates Zone 3 had six reported part one crimes. Here are some details regarding some of the crimes:

Saugus Zone 4 Crime Report: burglary eported

Good morning Saugus. We saw a rise in reported Part-1 crimes over the past week with eight. The most concerning crime was a residential burglary in the 22700 block of Derby Place on November 5th. The victim is in the process of moving and discovered that miscellaneous clothing and electronics had been taken from the house. Detectives are following up with possible suspect information on this incident.

FedEx truck is rolled after collision

Three L.A. County Fire engine companies responded to a traffic collision between a Honda Civic and Federal Express truck that rolled on its side on Rye Canyon Road at Avenue Scott in Valencia on Friday afternoon. Hazardous Materials Task Force 150 responded when it was reported that the truck may had been transporting hazardous materials. Later it was determined that the materials had not leaked. Minor injuries were reported at the scene but no one was transported to the hospital. Rye Canyon Road was closed between Avenue Scott and Avenue Stanford for more than an hour during the incident.
