Health Department reports SCV has low smoking rate

Nearly 11 percent of Santa Clarita residents smoke cigarettes according to a report released by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Tuesday. Overall about 14 percent of county residents smoke, a rate that has remained steady since 2002, according to the report.
