Weiss wins Carmen Sarro Award

Stephanie Weiss, a long time resident of the Santa Clarita Valley with a history of volunteerism that dates to 1971, was named the winner of the Carmen Sarro Community Service Award by the Zonta Club of SCV. More than 200 attendees saw Weiss named the winner of the award out of a field of 20 nominees. Weiss was greeted with a standing ovation and tears as she came forward to accept the award.

Final Score, a Newhall tradition

The best chocolate malt in the Santa Clarita Valley is hands down at Final Score in Newhall. I've eaten at Final Score, on and off since Final Score opened in 1979. I can honestly say I've never been disappointed. Never. Owner Joe Comella has been serving up sandwiches and pasta and salads for 30 years in the SCV.
