Brrr! It's been chilly in the Santa Clarita Valley this past week. Except for a brief warm spell that lasted only hours on Tuesday it's been exceptionally chilly for our normally balmy valley! Blake champions gift of life

The United States Department of Health and Human Services recently honored Children's Hospital Los Angeles for its commitment to saving lives through organ and tissue donation. The hospital received the Silver Medal of Honor which acknowledged the hospital's standard of excellence in achieving a donation conversion rate of 75 percent or greater for the past two years.

Local students honor Newtown’s hero teacher

The story of Victoria Soto, the 27-year-old Sandy Hook Elementary School teacher who was killed when a gunman invaded the school in Newtown, Conn., so touched students of a Valencia High School government class they have dedicated a house in Haiti in her memory.
