The holiday countdown is now at single digits. Hanukkah begins tonight at sundown, Christmas is a mere four days away and Kwanzaa begins Friday. I rather think the British and the Canadians have it nicely thought out with Boxing Day celebrated on the day after Christmas. The day after Christmas should be a holiday! Food Pantry turkey giveaway attracts large turnout

Nearly 300 families lined the sidewalk outside the Railroad Avenue location of the Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry along 4th Street and down Main Street as members of the Santa Clarita Rotary Club began to unload and distribute more than 250 turkeys the group donated to the Pantry for its annual turkey giveaway.
