Owner James Park said he opened Gogi House six months ago for selfish reasons. He didn't want to drive to "Korea-town" to get good Korean food. "There was no restaurant like this in Santa Clarita," he said.

My kitchen sink used to be nice and white, porcelain-coated cast iron. Now there's still some off-white, but there are also large black, rusting patches where the porcelain has been chipped away.

Backwoods Inn
Sawdust on the floor, dim lighting, lots of wood in the décor, antiques on the walls - the Backwoods Inn seems like something out of the '60s. Well, that's because it's been around that long. Why? It has always provided good steakhouse-style food and a friendly atmosphere at a good price.
