I've never really considered myself all that much of a "texter." So, imagine my surprise when last month's cellphone bill showed I had exceeded my 1,000 text limit ... and was surcharged accordingly.
Last week I had the pleasure of re-experiencing "Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical" at the little El Centro Theatre in Hollywood.

The 2012 - 2013 season at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons has now been revealed and, as described by Adam Philipson, PAC managing director, "This is one of the most diverse and eclectic seasons we have ever hosted at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center. I encourage you to explore this year's season, as there is sure to be something of interest for everyone in the family."
My friends, I have joined the parade, jumped on the bandwagon and swallowed at least a spoonful of the Kool-Aid. I now call myself a "Kings fan" – you know, for the next few days, anyway.
Did you know that more than 70 percent of your home's water use is in the yard and garden? Yup, that's a fact, according the folks at the Castaic Lake Water Agency.

"Thoroughly Modern Millie" opened at the Canyon Theatre Guild last Saturday night with both the title and feel of a classic that you've seen many times - except that maybe you haven't. Now, I don't know how the folks in the town of Starke might feel about it ... or the folks in Florida as a whole ... or folks who live in "trailer parks" across our great nation, for that matter. But I really don't care, because the audience at the REP's opening of "The Great American Trailer Park Musical," myself included, found the goings-on at the Armadillo Acres trailer park a real hoot.
