GV’s Totten forced to pull up

Golden Valley cross country runner Seth Totten fought a losing battle Saturday morning in Walnut at the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships. The junior fought the pain of a dislocated metatarsal in his right foot, but was unable to finish the five-kilometer Boys Seeded Race at Mt. San Antonio College.

New rule on the books

The Foothill League has implemented a new policy and will limit the amount of contact a coach can have with his or her athletes to 10 hours per week Monday through Saturday. The policy is a response to the elimination on July 1 of CIF-Southern Section By-Law 313 - the Athletic Association Rule.
