League gets glimpse of golf future

The Foothill League's Most Valuable Player ended his prep golf career Monday, but the future immediately grabbed his torch.

Underclassmen J.J. Holen of West Ranch and Jonathan Chang of Valencia posted impressive scores Monday at Sterling Hills Golf Course in Camarillo at the CIF-Southern Section Northern Individual Regional and advanced, along with Valencia senior Alex Macaluso, to the May 26 CIF-SS Individual Finals and SCGA qualifier.
