LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles police say the driver of a 25-foot recreational vehicle plowed into 30 parked cars, a power pole and an apartment building in the San Fernando Valley but there were no serious injuries.

City News Service says the man was examined at a hospital after complaining of pain.

Police Sgt. Cameron Dunnet says the driver, who's about 50, lost control of the RV shortly before 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in Sherman Oaks.

In addition to hitting parked cars and the power pole, Dunnet says the driver hit a chain link fence, a wall and several electrical boxes, knocking out power to some apartments.
