The Santa Clarita Signal Newspaper reporter Brian Charles, right, answers questions from a group of kids during his visit to the Helmers Child Care Center Feb. 20.

"Today we started fractions. After we went to child care. I played outside. After they called me in for writing club, I met Mr. Charles. He talked about how to be a writer. He talked about his life. My favorite part was him talking about the inauguration. He showed us pictures. We all told our stories. I think it was the best day ever!"
