Hart's Lewis Stallworth picked up his first collegiate offer this week from Seton Hall.

One of the Santa Clarita Valley’s most creative offensive players ever has his first NCAA Division I offer.

Hart High guard Lewis Stallworth, who will be a senior in 2013-14, received an official offer from Seton Hall last week, he said.

“It felt more like a monkey off my back, my first official offer,” Stallworth said. “When I first got my offer, I felt good, really good.”

Stallworth is a two-time Signal All-Santa Clarita Valley and two-time All-Foothill League first-teamer.

He said Seton Hall associate head coach Shaheen Holloway, a former star with the Pirates, has been recruiting him.

Stallworth plays for former NBA star and NBA on TNT analyst Kenny Smith’s Aim High club team and received a lot of exposure through it.

He said he hopes to make an official visit to the New Jersey school in August.

The Pirates were 15-18 overall last season and made it to the Big East Championship game.
