It was a day of golf, food and prizes Monday at Tournament Players Club Valencia as the fifth annual Summer Showdown golf tournament raised funds for the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center.

Participants had a chance to win a new car and putt for up to $10,000 during the event, which supports Senior Center programs and services.
