A pregnant woman complained of stomach pains and a child was injured after a minivan rolled over on the Highway 14 freeway in Canyon Country early today, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The Honda Odyssey was traveling northbound on the 14 just south of Golden Valley Road at 12:46 a.m. when it rolled over onto the right shoulder, deploying the air bags, said California Highway Patrol Officer Clive Sheen.
The CHP report did not say how many passengers were in the minivan, but a photographer on the scene said as many as five people may have been injured. No other vehicles were involved.
A child with minor cuts and a laceration to the head was transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital; the CHP was on scene until 3 a.m.
“One of the party was pregnant and complained of stomach pains,” Sheen said.
