A man charged with murder in an Acton shooting has yet to be arraigned and no prosecutor has been assigned to the case a month after his arrest, a court official said Monday.

Scott Russell Shipley, 56, was in court Monday but the District Attorney’s Office had no one to prosecute him, said Deputy District Attorney Jon Hatami. His arraignment, which had already been put off once, was put off again Monday.

Shipley was arrested May 15 an hour after 39-year-old Christopher Lawrence Demyen was shot and killed. Shipley was being held on $2 million bail.
