LOS ANGELES (AP) — A Los Angeles plastic surgeon who appeared on TV's "The Doctors" has been found not guilty of secretly making video recordings of patients who undressed for examinations.

City attorney's spokesman Frank Mateljan says jurors last Wednesday acquitted Dr. Lance Wyatt of six misdemeanor counts that carried a possible two-year jail sentence. The allegations included secretly recording two patients as well as sexual battery and battery involving the exams.

He was arrested last August.

His attorney, Winston McKesson, says Monday that Wyatt had recorded one patient involving her treatment and with her permission. He says the camera was inadvertently turned on when Wyatt moved it and it recorded a second patient, who went to authorities.

McKesson says the jury found there was no intentional secret recording.
