U.S. HealthWorks growing

U.S. HealthWorks has entered into a strategic partnership with Indiana University Health, the Valencia occupational healthcare organization announced June 7.

The two organizations will work together in providing occupational health services to employers in the state, said a spokesman.

As part of the agreement, the Valencia-based U.S. HealthWorks will have a clinical joint effort with IU Health, as well as, acquire the assets of eight free standing University health clinics in the Indianapolis area.

The clinics provide a full range of services to promote employee wellness and treat on-the-job injuries.

The agreement is expected to be completed by June 30 but, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Once the transaction is finalized, U.S. HealthWorks, a leading operator of occupational healthcare and urgent care centers, will have 13 centers and worksites in Indiana and 199 nationwide in 17 states.

“This strategic partnership will allow us to broaden our reach in the state and better serve our national and regional clients,” said Dan Crowley, President and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. HealthWorks.
