SCV School and Business Alliance and their title sponsor, Boston Scientific Neuromodulation host Discovering Careers 2009 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 25 at College of the Canyons.

Discovering Careers is a free career-exploration fair for SCV students ages 5 to 20 and their families. The goal is to give SCV kids a chance to explore various occupations and industries.

Local businesses will provide industry-related demonstrations for kids and their families. The demonstrations are designed to provide insight into the specific careers and the world of careers in general.

More than 2,000 students and their families participated in this event last year.

Organizers are soliciting booth sponsors. The fair is free of charge to participating employers, students and parents.
