Two people were injured Sunday morning in a traffic collision in Canyon Country, emergency response officials said.

About 11:30 a.m. Sunday, deputies of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a two-car crash at the intersection of Whites Canyon Road and Soledad Canyon Road with reports of two people trapped, said Sgt. Rich Nagler.

“This happened in front of the 7-Eleven,” he said. “It was reported by passersby as two people trapped.”

The crash involved two sedans, he said.

Paramedics of the Los Angeles County Fire Department were treating people for injuries at 11:35 a.m., said Inspector Al Jackson.
