Seeing corporations through Left-tinted glasses

I read Tina Dupuy’s column "Apple could pay for Moore — and more" (May 28) and was frankly pretty amazed at the lack of intellectual consistency in it, though I probably shouldn’t have been, given all the recent histrionics from the Left.

In her column Tina Dupuy berates Apple, Mitt Romney, GE, Mattel, Boeing and just about every other large company under the sun for not paying their "fair share" of taxes by taking advantage of deductions and strategies that are actually written into the tax code.

To quote Dupuy: "Its just unpatriotic. And unethical."

It is?

Does Dupuy itemize her deductions — or does she just fill out the 1040 short form and send in a check, with maybe a little extra thrown in for "patriotism"?

How about Carl Levin, whom Dupuy lauded in her column? Ditto for Harry Reid, "Mr. Land Deal" himself?

How about the Kennedies? They all "unpatriotic," too, Dupuy? If so, how come you didn’t name them?

Or is it only those e-e-e-vil corporations and GOP politicos who are "unethical" and "unpatriotic"?

What a hypocrite.
