Reason for no outrage

I just read Betty Arensons’ May 24 column, "Where is the outrage?" wherein she describes all the recent and many of the past scandals attributed to this administration and wonders why there is not more public outrage.

Sure there should be more public outrage but I suggest that the reason there is not lies with the Rush Limbaugh Republicans and the Fox News Followers.

Their actions from the outset of the Obama administration has been attack, attack, attack. Every day we’ve been told, "Look, look, look! See, see, see they did this wrong or they did that wrong."

Day after day after day we’ve been saturated with this barrage of so called misdeeds until by now we have become numb to it all.

It’s kind of like the old story of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf." After awhile you just don’t believe it anymore or at least it doesn’t seem so important.

So there you have it. "The administrative scandals of 2013."

Sounds like a Broadway hit. Sad indeed! Worse perhaps would be, "The Story of Today’s Congress."

Stop the world, I want to get off.
