Man who died in apparent fall at UCLA identified

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Coroner's officials have identified a man found dead at the University of California, Los Angeles, campus after an apparent fall from a building.

The Los Angeles Times reports ( ) Wednesday that 47-year-old Reynaldo Quitos was an assistant at the school's Southern Regional Library Facility.

UCLA spokesman Tod Tamberg says Quitos was found late Tuesday afternoon at the base of Boelter Hall at the university's School of Engineering. He appears to have jumped or fallen off the building.

University police say no foul play is suspected.

Coroner's officials say an autopsy is pending to determine the cause of death.
