The Employment Development Department reported Friday the 3.3 percent unemployment rate, not seasonally adjusted, for the city of Santa Clarita.
The statistics also show an employment of 89,300 and a labor force of 92,300 for last month.
The total number of unemployed in Santa Clarita for February is 3,000.
All three figures for the city have not been seasonally adjusted.
Santa Clarita's unemployment rate continues to remain under Los Angeles County's rate of 5.3 percent for February, as reported by the department.
Santa Clarita's unemployment rate in January hit 3.6 percent, which was a half a percent increase from December 2007's 3.1 percent.
The increase between the December and January was attributed to the effects of the writers strike, which shut down local television productions, impacting Santa Clarita's film industry.
