ack by very popular demand, Soroptomist International of Santa Clarita Valley will host the Second annual "Gentlemen for A Cause" fundraiser on June 8 at the Westridge Clubhouse in Valencia.

This year the event will benefit Bridge to Home. It is the goal of Soroptomist International of SCV to be able to help families with children get back on their feet.

Bridge to Home operates the Santa Clarita Emergency Winter Shelter each year from Thanksgiving until March 31st, providing shelter and meals for men, women and families during the cold winter season.

In addition, Bridge to Home has year-round services where those in need can receive medical and dental services as well as personal counseling and job placement assistance.

Bridge to Home also has started its Families to Home program which provides permanent supportive housing for those families that are struggling and need assistance not just with their housing costs, but with support programs to help keep them from homelessness.

"Gentlemen for a Cause" will be held Saturday evening, June 8 at the Westridge Clubhouse in Valencia beginning at 6 p.m.

Co-chairwomen Suzanne Stone and Lorraine Furden said "With all the excitement and buzz last year, we had to hold this fundraiser again."

Guests are invited to come bid on professional services offered by the SCV’s most talented gentlemen.

Last year’s event featured dentists, plumbers, accountants, personal trainers and more.

For the single ladies in the crowd, you will have the opportunity to bid on a special date with some fabulous eligible bachelor.

Be prepared to view and bid on our community’s most fun loving and romantic gentlemen.

You never know what special date these dream men have prepared for the lucky winning ladies.

The summer event will offer fun entertaining male models with a fast paced live auction.

Tickets are $40 each in advance, or $45 at the door.

Those wishing to donate goods and services are still being sought.
