“Beer It Forward” is just one of the unique ideas presented at a sneak preview and tour of Wolf Creek Brewery on Thursday, May 16, 2013. You can buy a friend a beer (even if they are not present) and they will have up to sixty days to redeem. Wolf Creek Brewery is owned by the same owners of Wolf Creek Restaurant and Brewery, however, in this facility the focus is on producing and distributing the high quality ale. Rob McFerren, award-winning brew master and former rocket scientist, revealed the eight step process that Wolf Creek uses to make their hand-crafted ale. The entire process from start to finish takes about three to four weeks. Although the event was free, donations were accepted to benefit the Child & Family Center. They served delicious Wolf Creek appetizers and desserts and of course offered samples of their esteemed ale. A few of the prize-winning ales include the Golden Eagle Ale, the Howlin’ Hefeweizen, and Midnight Howl India Black Ale. Wolf Creek Brewery is open to the public on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. They have plans to offer special events like booking live entertainment and offering invitational group beer tasting events. Follow Wolf Creek Santa Clarita on Facebook and Twitter to get specials, promotions, and upcoming events. Wolf Creek Brewery is located at 25108 Rye Canyon Loop in Mann Biomedical Park. So visit Wolf Creek Brewery and don’t forget to buy a friend a beer! P.S. I spell my name K-E-N A-D-A-M-S.

Hello SCV, allow me to introduce myself. I am Rushelle Buck and I’m so excited to be joining such a successful team here at Signal Multimedia, as a Multimedia Account Executive. I moved here in 1979 from Huntington Beach. I first got my feet wet in Real Estate but then with 3 boys’ came sports and many years of acting. I became a Talent Manager and eventually opened up Buck Entertainment Talent. Once the boy’s grew out to the entertainment business, I then found myself at a local travel agency and found a love for selling travel.

By chance, I met The Signal’s Publisher and next thing I knew I was telling my friends and family that I was given an opportunity to be involved with the SCV’s longest running publishing company. Signal Multimedia has so much to offer including: and print products such as SCV Health & Family, Connect SCV, our brand new SCV Fact Book that is going to really spotlight all of our local hotspots and restaurants. We also have a new Off Campus Guide coming soon for College Students and all the business’s these students need. I hope to meet all of you at one time or another and help with your business and advertising needs. Please feel free to contact me to schedule an appointment or 661.287.5534.

I’m sure many of you have heard of “body wraps”, as they are often discussed in the media. There seem to be many different products on the market, including Slimmer Silhouette®, which was created by Meggie Hale. The skin is the largest organ in the human body. It doesn't simply serve to protect us, but in many ways is quite interactive not only with the environment in which we live and the substances with which it comes into contact. “This is not a weight-loss program,” says creator Meggie Hale. Combined with a healthy lifestyle, Slimmer Silhouette® can help lose inches-not weight and not water. Ms. Hale, along with a biochemist created the wraps for her hospice business to help speed the healing process of bedsores and fissures. Inspired by the results of the wraps, Meggie decided to use the wraps on herself and found they gave her the incentive that she needed to begin a successful weight loss journey on her own. Ms. Meggie Hale lost over 15 sizes by using the wraps to reduce excess skin and help increase her weight loss results, but also tighten the excess skin and rejuvenate her body. As word of mouth started spreading, Meggie found she had to start turning people away for private wrap sessions. Golden Globe Winner, Tippi Hedren and Tony Award winner, Ben Vereen use Slimmer Silhouette® to tighten their skin and replenish nutrients into their bodies. In addition, as she prepared for a national tour with PR appearance on national morning and news programs, Alison Arngrim (Nellie Oleson of Little House on the Prairie and New York Times Best-seller), used it and lost 17 inches all over, and hundreds of woman and men have used it as a tool to reduce excess skin while losing weight. Look for the Slimmer Silhouette® ad in tomorrow’s Connect SCV to learn more about this incredible product. Additional information can be found at:

Real Life Church has announced the opening of a new gathering place, a Community Partnership down in the heart of Newhall. Savia, a community partnership, is a huge center on Newhall Avenue that houses three non-profits: A Light of Hope, Single Mothers Outreach and the Domestic Violence Center.

Savia will also feature Artisan Java and Juice, a non-profit organic coffee, tea and juice bar and they will donate 100 percent of their profits to local charities. A Wi-Fi work lounge, classrooms and conference rooms will also be available for community use throughout the week.

Savia, translated, means the energy, vitality or lifeblood of a tree. They aspire to be that to the community, and we welcome them and their contributions. Be sure to check on for coming attractions at both Real Life Church and Savia in the Connect SCV calendar.
