A multi-vehicle crash in Newhall stalled southbound traffic on Railroad Avenue Sunday afternoon, officials said.

Shortly after 2:30 p.m., four vehicles ended up damaged at the intersection of Railroad and 15th Street.

No one was injured, according to a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The crash left two vehicles — a silver-colored four-door Nissan and a white Ford Explorer Sport SUV with front-end damage — stranded in the center of Railroad.

Two other cars — a white Mercedes-Benz sedan and a white Ford sedan, each with front-end damage — were stopped at the southwest corner of the intersection as a deputy of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station interviewed occupants of all vehicles in turn.

Southbound traffic was routed west on 15th Street as deputies tried to figure out what happened.

Paramedics from Fire Station No. 73, situated on the southside of the intersection, were quickly on scene.

“Our paramedics responded,” said a spokesman at the station. “No one was hurt, and no one was taken to the hospital.”
