First place
If I could meet a historical figure I would most like to meet Jackie Robinson.
I would probably like to meet him because of how he was the first African-American to play in Major League Baseball.
If I could meet him, I would ask him a lot of questions, like how he found the courage to never give up and what it was like to be in front of all those people, knowing that he was the first African-American to play in the Majors.
That was his most famous accomplishment, but that isn't the only thing he was known for.
He was an amazing player, too, as a matter of fact. I would ask him all the questions that I have for him and everything I forget about him, like his home run total.
What makes it better is that he was on the Dodgers, our home team. Overall, Jackie Robinson was an amazing player and opened up a path for other great African-Americans to play in the MLB.

Second place
If I could meet a historical figure it would be Martin Luther King Jr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a leader who helped fight against segregation.
I think I would like to meet him to ask him what it was like in the past and how it was like to be treated unfairly when he was alive. Also I think it would be cool to know that I was talking to a person who helped the future.
I would also like to meet him because he was a good leader. He got people to boycott the busses and walk everywhere.
Also I think he's great because he didn't use violence to do any of this. This is why I want to meet him. He didn't use violence, and was a good leader and he never gave up.

If I could meet a historical figure, I would meet Walter Payton. I would want to meet him because he is in the Hall of Fame. He was also one of the best running backs in the NFL. He died a couple years ago. He played on the Chicago Bears. He was only 5-foot-11 and about 250 pounds. He was like a bulldozer. He ran over people every time he got the ball. That's the person I would want to meet.

If there were anyone historical I could meet it would be Captain Johnson.
I would pick Bartholomew Roberts because he's a pirate and I'm interested in pirates. But he would chop off my head. So I'll just stick with Johnson.
I like Captain Johnson because he killed my least favorite pirate, Blackbeard.
Johnson was a Royal Navy Captain. I like him mostly because he made history by making Blackbeard's career only two years.
