Examine the 'Treasures of the Czar' at the SCV Senior Center

Learn about the history of the Romanovs and the enamel work of Faberge and his contemporary silver workers, presented by Dr. Donna Davidson, professor of English, film and humanities, Thursday, May 9 at the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in rooms A-1 and A-2.

Davidson’s lecture will include the history of Faberge and the Romanovs, the discovery of the enameling process and examples of Russian enamel items. The center’s regular Scholar Series is free, and features different experts and educators.
